You haven’t lost it, let me explain:

Avalanche, just like Polygon, Fantom, Arbitrum, etc. is an EVM compatible chain.

That means your ETH address is also your Avalanche address, and you are also the owner of the Avalanche wallet (and Polygon wallet, Fantom wallet, etc. all with the same address).

To confirm your AVAX arrived in your Avalanche wallet, use this Avalanche block explorer and enter your address into the search: [https://snowtrace.io/](https://snowtrace.io/)

You’ll find that the AVAX will have arrived there.

Now how do see your AVAX in your wallet software?

The particulars depend on the software you use, but basically you’ll have to add the Avalanche network to your wallet software and then switch to it.

The easiest would be to go to a site like [https://chainlist.org/](https://chainlist.org/) or [https://chainlist.wtf](https://chainlist.wtf) and connect your wallet. Then search for “Avalanche” and click it. Then your wallet software will ask you if it’s ok to add the selected network, and will probably automatically switch to it right afterwards.

From here you can manage you Avalanche wallet (send/receive/sign etc.) just like you can with your Ethereum wallet.

So keep in mind: If you own an ETH address, then you’re automatically the owner of the same address on all other EVM compatible chains!

You can post your ticket reference here and an agent will get back to you (posting publicly) during business hours

I thought AVAX had its own chain and does not natively work on ETH. I fear that you lost it. Maybe some wiz here knows how you could reach it through MetaMask

If you have a MetaMask connected to your ledger, add the c chain in MetaMask and you’ll see it. I did this earlier today. It doesn’t show in ledger under the ethereum account at all. I was moving it to link to the avax wallet for staking(another step) that can be done with a connected ledger. For staking, they make you bridge it from c to p chain(if I recall), at which point it no longer shows in your MetaMask. I didn’t look to see if p chain can be added in meta.

Avax isn’t supported in Ledger Live. If you have used the Avalanche network for the transaction, you just need to connect your Ledger device to Avalanche wallet and you should see your AVAX.

You can find the tutorial [here](https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4415901099793-Set-up-and-use-Avalanche-Wallet-to-access-your-Ledger-Avalanche-AVAX-account?docs=true)
