Ein Freund wollte eine Hardware-Geldbörse erwerben und stellte eine einfache, aber dennoch verwirrende Frage. Wenn die Seed-Wörter generiert werden, wo werden sie dann gespeichert? Werden sie im Trezor-Netzwerk, in der Blockchain oder irgendwo anders gespeichert? Wenn meine Wallet zerstört wird und ich die Seed-Wörter auf einem neuen Gerät eingebe, wo werden sie dann überprüft?

They are stored on the piece of paper you write them on **and** the Trezor you have.

Nowhere else.

If your Trezor is destroyed or you perform a factory wipe, seed words only exist on the paper you wrote them on.

A trezor generated 12/24 seed word is just a random number stored on your trezor device, the 2048 word list (a human way to read the number) is stored in the Firmware, its some Bitcoin improvement protocol BIP standard.

Do you mean that if it ever needs restored, to input the seed phrase on the trezor screen? Not connecting the device to your computer and typing in the seed phrase ? Even if you are disconnected from the internet/ wifi? Or will it not allow that? I’m sorry, I really don’t understand this part. (Serious question)

The seeds are used to create the key pair. They are not stored anywhere. If you enter the seed words somewhere else you are recreating the keys.

So don’t EVER enter them anywhere other than in the Trezor, if you enter on a web site *poof* your crypto is gone forever.
