Woher weiß ich, dass mein Schlüssel wiederhergestellt ist?

Ich habe die PIN für mein Ledger vergessen, aber ich habe meine Passphrase. Da ich keine Kryptowährung verwendet habe, kann ich nicht sagen, ob meine Passphrase wiederhergestellt wurde oder ob ich einfach von vorne anfangen muss. Es hat mir keine Benachrichtigung wie “Passphrase wiederhergestellt” in meinem Ledger oder so angezeigt. Weiß jemand, wie ich feststellen kann, ob ich meinen Schlüssel wiederhergestellt habe oder ob ich dieses Ledger einfach als neu verwende? Sorry, ich weiß nicht wirklich viel darüber. Letztendlich möchte ich nur wissen, ob meine Passphrasen korrekt sind, denn ich habe gehört, dass das alles ist, was man im Wesentlichen braucht.

Ledger doesn’t know the difference between a new key and and a ‘recovered’ one — except if there’s already funds in that wallet. And even that is indistinguishable from just switching from one wallet to another.

If there were no funds in it then your risk here is pretty low. You could transfer a small coin to the new wallet then re-recover it and ensure the coin shows up again.

If you get the same public address, it’s the same key. You can also check via the recovery check app if your seed works / is correct. But no one can tell you what you did setup before 🙂

Similar to what others have said in this thread, your Ledger device has no knowledge of your previous recovery phrase(s). Even the recovery phrase check app cannot tell you whether you’ve used the specific recovery phrase before, it is only going to tell you whether the recovery phrase you enter is a valid recovery phrase.

When setting up your device, make sure you write down your recovery phrase as clearly as possible and in the correct order, it’s always good to double and triple check you’ve written it down correctly before confirming the recovery phrase on the device 🙂
