I love how some people just conflate any security related thing to just “hacked” and conclude that it’s game over.

The HW wallets have never been hacked. This is some other code that certainly has a different security profile. Some mistakes were made but the incident shouldn’t be conflated with the security of the hw wallet.

If you don’t clear sign with the readout on the hardware wallet to guarantee your money is going where you want it to, that’s on you. Rogue third party apps are not hacks. Take responsibility for your own actions. Has nothing to do with a “Ledger hack.”

All these people still whining about ledger even tho no official significant hacks have been confirmed. Not even ledger recover has had any impact on the average user. Yet even months after the announcement people cry all over Reddit for literally nothing. All these people switching to trezor etc. & sharing their tears daily on Reddit had more headache than the people who kept calm and did nothing. Literal clowns lmao.

Ledger has lost my support. If they can’t get ahead of their vulnerabilities, they are incompetent and have failed after several second chances to prove they are legit. Any traditional cyber security company would be out of business by now, most people just don’t know there are other hardware wallets out there now that have not had these types of issues
