1. Org-Modus/Org-Agenda-Zeiterfassung VS Ledger-CLI Zeiterfassung, was bevorzugen Sie aufgrund der Einfachheit?
2. Haben wir bei der Option *Zeiterfassung* des Ledger-CLI eine Möglichkeit, den Zeitaufwand für eine bestimmte Aufgabe zu schätzen (oder zu budgetieren)?
3. Hat das Ledger-CLI eine Option, um eine automatische Transaktion von einer bestimmten Anlagenkategorie zu einer bestimmten Ausgabenkategorie durchzuführen? Wenn ich zum Beispiel einen Betrag für `Ausgaben:Lebensmittel` eingebe, wird der Betrag automatisch von der Kategorie `Vermögenswerte:Lebensmittel` abgezogen, so dass ich nicht jedes Mal, wenn ich `Ausgaben:Lebensmittel` eingebe, `Vermögenswerte:Lebensmittel` angeben muss.

    I can only give a short and probably non-helpful answer as to org mode vs. ledger.

    Compared with, say, barebones ledger (meaning you edit ledger files using a text editor by hand), org mode is *miles* ahead, of course. Clocking in and out, jumping to the current clock, even integrating Xorg idle functions and asking what to do with the idle time – that’s a given and at your fingertips.

    With regards to evaluating clocking results, I suppose ledger-cli is more advanced. However, without a convenient way to create ledger files, this’ll be painful.

    I’m very eager to hear from other people tracking their time how they do it with ledger. For my personal timetracking, I’m sticking to org-mode for now, using a simple clocking table for the current day or week, and then manually transferring stuff to ledger entries if needed (my company actually uses ledger for timetracking).

    Re 1 & 2: though you asked about Ledger CLI, here’s my process for your interest: [Simon’s hledger time dashboard](https://hledger.org/time-planning.html). I’ve been using and liking this for a few years. Immediate logging and retroactive logging are quick and simple, time budgeting is supported, and reporting is also simple (eg `bal -MATS -1`, or just glance at today’s file).
